We love working with Ooyala because we get to create very special designs year on year of which we build throughout the World for their team. The inspiration behind the designs we create for their booths is in the style of a New York loft conversion. Manhattan is the birthplace of loft living, so contemporary is the word of the day. The key to achieving this is to use muted tones on textured fabrics and upholstery, saving an injection of colour or pattern for selected focal points. We utilise reclaimed wood in our designs to add in a warm texture and although there is a challenge of creating natural light in some of the conference centres, we have overcome this by utilising sprayed retro can lights to achieve the perfect result every time.
The devil is always in the details and we pride ourselves in going that extra mile in creating a wonderful environment that stands out from the crowd, so whether it is the live cacti garden or sprayed stencil logos we excel in unleashing our creativity on their booths. NAB 2016 was our favourite creation to date, the challenge being, every year Ooyala secure a space in the car park for their booth.
We have fitted out tents for them in the past but this was the year they wanted to step up their presence and have something extra special. Prodigio accepted the challenge with open arms and the creation of their large container booth was born. The containers were a perfect solution as a base to continue the Manhattan style loft effect as once we had cut the doors and openings to suit the designed layout, natural light flooded into the areas of the demos and casual meeting spaces. The containers are stored with our team in the U.S. and have already been re-installed at NAB 2017. Watch out on the streets of Las Vegas for the highly branded containers as the will no doubt be utilised for many shows to come!
