At the beginning of March, we attended the CONEXPO show in Las Vegas, North America’s largest construction trade show, occupying both the LVCC and a large open arena to showcase the machinery. Being a new show for us with a new client, we were excited to put our stamp on it.
With new designs come new challenges and new ideas. We made use of existing key structural elements from stock to hit our client’s budget, whilst maintaining a fully customised & seamless booth experience. We had the opportunity to experiment with new glazing features, implementing a full wall of electrostatic frosted glazing in both meeting rooms; meaning we could make the glass wall turn from fully frosted to clear at the flick of a switch!
With two clients adjacent to each other, we devised an attractive symmetrical layout with a different feel for each brand, creating a striking contrast. Interactive touchpoints were placed throughout the booths, including iPads, Surface Pros, and touchscreen demos, providing engaging elements for all clients arriving at the booths.
However, with the announcement of COVID-19 arriving in Las Vegas the week of the show, we were asked to react quickly by our clients. Being conscious of safety, we were quick to secure various sanitizing solutions at the last minute and deployed them throughout the booths to keep our clients and visitors safe.
