IBC Exhibition Design Awards Winners
Latest Work
After an exciting and busy few days with our clients at the IBC Show in Amsterdam, we were delighted to receive an award for our Ooyala exhibition design!
IBC is the premier annual event for professionals engaged in the creation, management and delivery of entertainment and news content worldwide.
The IBC Design Awards is run by seven teams of judges who tour the entire exhibition (fifteen halls), looking carefully at every stand. They choose those which they regard as outstanding in terms of accessibility, clarity and image.
With 1,600+ exhibitors, we were absolutely thrilled to learn that Prodigio had won an award for ‘Best Smaller Free-Design Stand up to 100 sq m’ with our fantastic stand for Ooyala.
We have been proudly working with the our fantastic clients at Ooyala for over 4 years, designing and building their stands. Their fresh thinking and desire to stand out from the crowd allows us to really exercise our creativity and explore exciting designs with many different materials, finishes and features not normally associated with exhibition stands.
Building upon our hugely successful shipping container design at NAB and drawing inspiration from the industrial New York loft style, the IBC 2016 stand we created is something truly special. Our team have a keen eye for detail – from unique paint techniques to ensure the girders look like they are decades old (and disguise the fact they are actually made from wood!) to the concrete textured finishes and unique vintage lighting sourced from Germany and combined with traditional theatrical lighting (brought up to date with LED lighting and sprayed to create the ambiance we desired). The design was liked so much by our clients we have built another version at the DMEXCO 2016 show, which opens its doors tomorrow!
It’s always such an honour to be awarded and recognised for our work and our entire team at Prodigio couldn’t be happier with this amazing achievement. Thank you IBC!
